1. Data subject and Operator
I, a user of the SCI-SPACE platform, give consent to the operator SCI-SPACE (hereinafter — the Operator) to distribute my personal data in the manner and on the terms provided by Article 10.1 of Federal Law No. 152-FZ of 27.07.2006 "On Personal Data".
2. What data may be distributed
I permit the distribution of the following categories of data:
- surname, first name, patronymic;
- profile photo;
- country and city;
- organization, position, academic degree, academic title;
- field of professional interests and biography;
- information about participation in events, including the event name and participation status;
- publications, articles, abstracts and comments that I post on the platform;
- links to the public profile and other information that I make available myself.
I understand that providing contact details (phone, email) in the public profile is optional. If I enter them in a field available to other users, they may also become available to an unlimited number of persons.
3. Purposes of distribution
- displaying the user's public profile to other users of the platform;
- identifying the author of publications, applications and comments;
- displaying participants and authors on event pages and in proceedings;
- enabling social interaction between users of the platform;
- indexing of public pages by search engines to the extent available without authorization.
4. Conditions of distribution
- the data is published on the Operator's website and may be accessible to an indefinite range of persons without registration;
- the Operator may display the data in public sections of the platform, on event pages, in proceedings and in link previews;
- the Operator does not transfer the data to third parties for purposes unrelated to the operation of the platform, except in cases provided by law;
- the Operator does not control copying of the data by third parties if access to it was public; such copies may remain in search engines and archives;
- I do not place special categories of personal data, biometric data, or information I do not want to disclose in public fields.
5. Term and withdrawal
The consent is valid until it is withdrawn or the account is deleted. I may withdraw my consent at any time:
- by deleting the relevant data from the public profile, where technically possible;
- by sending a request to info@sci-space.ru specifying which data and which distribution conditions I withdraw.
After the consent is withdrawn, the Operator stops the distribution and removes the data from public access within no more than 30 days, unless otherwise provided by law. Restricting distribution may make it impossible to use the public profile and certain platform features.
Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of distribution carried out before the Operator received it. Copies made by third parties may remain available independently of the Operator.
6. Confirmations
- I have read the purposes, categories of data and conditions of distribution;
- I understand that public profile data is visible to other users and on the Internet;
- I give consent freely, of my own will and in my own interest, and I understand the consequences of disclosing the data;
- I am at least 14 years old; if necessary, I have obtained the consent of a legal representative.
