This Policy describes which cookies and browser local storage data the SCI-SPACE platform uses, for what purposes, and how to manage them. The Policy applies together with the Privacy Policy(opens in a new tab).
2. What are cookies and local storage
Cookies are small text files that a website saves in your browser. Local storage (localStorage) is a browser mechanism that allows data to be stored on the user's device between visits. Such data may qualify as personal data if it allows the user to be identified.

4. Third-party services
Certain platform features may use third-party services (for example, the payment provider when paying for services). Such services may set their own cookies under their own policies. 5. How to manage cookies
You can delete or block cookies and local storage data in your browser settings. Please note: blocking essential cookies and localStorage may make it impossible to sign in to your account and for the platform to work correctly.
Cookie management is usually found in the "Settings" → "Privacy" section of your browser. To delete the data of a specific website, you can use the site data storage settings.
6. Changes to the Policy
The Operator may update the Policy when the technologies used change. A new version is published on this page. If consent is required for new cookies, the Operator will request it before they are used.
